Automatic Rollover

ArthaChitra lets you to automatically rollover any futures and options contract to its next series at a click of a button. Please follow the below instructions to know more about it.

• In Main View menu bar goto Settings > Instruments > View
• In the Instrument Manager View expand the Rollover expander control
• Select an exchange
• Append the current expiry month and year
• The 'Is views updated' check box, if checked, will also update the views (like chart etc). You must be disconnected (from any connection) to avail this feature.
• Click on the Rollover button

Note:

ArthaChitra will delete the current month’s instrument

If the current expiry is say January 2016 and you want to rollover to the February 2016 contracts, then you must set the expiry month as January and the expiry year as 2016 (two thousand sixteen).

For FnO scripts the next month’s expiry should be defined in the Rollover. New instrument will not be added in the list if a suitable contract is not found.
