One Cancels Other |
One Cancels Other (OCO) orders (aka Bracket Orders (BO)) are special orderTypes supported by the connection. OCO orders submits a stop and target order once the original order gets filled and user has to define the target price and the stop price via the order template. OCO orders are managed by the Order Management System (OMS) of the broker and the stop / target orders resides in the OMS.
Note: User must set the appropriate productType while submitting a cover order. Please find below the list of connections supporting OCO order and its corrosponding Product Type
How to define a OCO Order templatePlease follow the below steps to define a new OCO Order.
- Click on the Add button of the Order Template
- In the Order Template View select 'One Cancels Other' from the drop down items
- Append a suitable name in the Name textBox
- Select the Calculation Mode
- Set the Target and Stop price. Note the stop and target price will be calculated as per the selected Calculation Mode
- Click on the Ok button
