Backup & Restore

ArthaChitra provides an easy and efficient way to backup and restore your workspace, sharpScript user-Codes, instruments, trade data etc. Please refer to the below section to know how to use the backup and restore.

Backup

Please follow the below steps to backup data

In Main View menu bar goto Settings>Backup & Restore>Backup
In the Backup View click on the General or Data tab depending on what you want to backup
Check on the data types you want to backup
Click on the Ok button
In the Save Dialog append a name of the backup file and click on Ok

Restore

Please follow the below steps to Restore data from a backup file

In Main View menu bar goto Settings>Backup & Restore>Restore
In the Restore View check/uncheck on the option 'Overwrite' if you want to overwrite an existing file or not
Click on the Ok button
In the Select File Dialog select the backup zip file and click on Ok
